Blake Travis Chipman Coffin, 26, of Rockland passed away unexpectedly, Saturday, December 3, 2011.

Born in Rockland, December 17, 1984, he was the son of Jeffrey T. and Barbara L. Coffin.
Growing up in Rockland, he attended local schools and Rockland District High School, where he played football, baseball and basketball.

Blake enjoyed being around his family and friends very much. He could easily make a dim room light up bright as soon as he entered it. If your spirits were down and Blake came around, you were instantly uplifted by his presence and humor.

He had a great work ethic and took pride in his landscaping and rock work. He was determined to succeed in everything he started.

He loved to go hiking, camping, fishing, the outdoors and reminiscing around a fire with friends and barbequing. He enjoyed many sports and challenging activities. He was passionate about music, going to all types of concerts.

He had a deep love for his fiancée, Nyssa and shared a special bond with his brothers Ricky and Jeffrey. He had the utmost of respect for his mother, Barbara and always looked forward to football Sunday with his step-father Rob, along with the latest delicious meal Mom would cook. He attended his first Celtics and Patriots games with his step-father Rob, and enjoyed a trip to Las Vegas with his mom and Rob.
